I am 47, single with no children of my own (other than my adorable Shih Tzu named Skittles). I have been involved in fitness for over 20 years (most of which was me working out). Three years ago, I hired a PT to help me lose weight that was gained while I was on medication following having meningitis. I lost 60 pounds, and learned so much from my persona trainer that I wanted to become one myself!. While pondering different CEU's to take for renewal of my PT certification, I stumbled on BARRE! I took a class, and fell in love with the techniques and concepts..... all thru the class, I kept thinking- I can do this with my clients! I am a full time first grade teacher, but also have a job at my gym part time. I am looking forward to teaching barre at my gym. I will still be working a second job, but it will be teaching fitness while getting my workout in!В
