I am 55 and didn't start my group fitness career until my 40s. I am currently working at 3 Clubs (Ricochet, Rutgers University and Eclipse) in the group fitness departments. I teach on average 16 classes a week and am the billing manager at Ricochet. I have been employed there for over 15 years. I am a mother of two grown girls (24 and 20). I grew up in NYC, moved to Canada for 17 years where I met my husband while working full time at IBM Canada. We lived in Bermuda for 3 years and moved back to New Jersey in 1996. I am married for 26 years (to the same man!). I taught preschool gym for 2 years at Temple Sholom (mostly for fun) while also working at Ricochet at the front desk. I moved into the billing department and group fitness 12 years ago. My joke of being at the gym so much they should hire me, became a reality!
